This document is designed to give you - the non-German - a little introduction on how to identify and communicate with our beer loving friends.

How to identify a German

• Knee length socks. Germans care little for fashion, only practicality.
• They veally love beer. If you spot an alcoholic that can march in a straight line, they're German.

Communication Tips

• Don't assume there's something wrong with them.  They're just German.
• The Germans have no sense of humour.  Don't make jokes.
• Don't mention the war.  After all, we're all friends now.
• Nothing to talk about? Mention Oktoberfest, they love it.
