Create New Ticket

You're about to file a bug report or enhancement request

Before submitting a defect or enhancement suggestion ticket, please verify that the following points apply:

  1. You are using the latest version of Agavi.
  2. The problem is reproducible.
  3. The problem is not listed on the FAQ or WTF page, or the KNOWN_ISSUES file.
  4. The problem is not already described in another ticket (be it closed or open).
  5. If you're using the SVN version of Agavi, you're using HEAD and not an outdated version.
  6. If possible, try the latest SVN version if you are running the latest release.

A good rule is to use the Trac search feature before submitting your bug. Search will return matches in SVN commit messages, tickets, and wiki pages.

If you have verified that the issue you are about to report is indeed not known yet, please respect the following guidelines while filling out the bug report form:

  1. Leave your email address in the Your email or username field. This is absolutely essential because we often need additional information and feedback from bug reporters. You will automatically receive notifications of changes to this ticket until it is closed. We kindly ask for your understanding that any tickets filed without an email address in the reporter field are likely to be discarded without further attention.
  2. Choose the correct Type. For bug reports, you should set this to defect. For enhancements request, set this to enhancement. The task type is usually used only by members of the development team for keeping track of general development efforts.
  3. Pick the right Component.
  4. Make sure you leave the Priority and Severity fields set to their default values, and leave the Milestone field empty. A developer will review your ticket after it has been filed and decide which upcoming release is appropriate, assign a severity and set a priority.
  5. Check that the Version field is filled in correctly. Choose the version you used when first experiencing the problem. That means if you are running into a bug in Agavi 0.11.0, you still choose that version from the drop-down, even though you checked the SVN version to see if the bug has been fixed yet. If you're running off SVN, choose HEAD here.
  6. Fill in as many keywords as you can, separated by a space character.

We appreciate your help making Agavi a better product!
